◆ TRANSFER SITE HOURS – Tues/Thurs/Sat 9 AM - 5 PM.

◆ A reminder to please have your garbage out for pick up on Wednesdays by 8:00 AM.

◆ The Newspaper Recycle Bins CANNOT accept: wrapping paper, bond paper, envelopes, bills & shredded paper.

◆ Burn pit has re-opened.

Bylaw #2016-12

On September 26, 2016 Acme Council passed Bylaw #2016-12, requiring every property in the Village of Acme to display an Address number, clearly visible from the street. Sections of the Bylaw have been posted in the October Newsletter (page 2) with the important sections highlighted in yellow. The Newsletter is posted on our website (www.acme.ca) and can also be found in printed form at the Village Office, Corner Store, Acme Foods, Blue Ginger Restaurant, and Gas Plus. Enforcement of the Bylaw will commence Dec. 1st, 2016. If you have any questions about the Bylaw, please contact the Village Office.

OUTDOOR SKATING RINK CARETAKER

The Village of Acme is looking for someone to look after our outdoor skating rink for the 2016-2017 season. Ice making, snow shovelling and cleaning the skate shack is required.
