How spectacular the morning sunrises have been lately!  Even the 'moon-set' one morning was breath takingly beautiful.
An enjoyable evening of Military Whist started the season recently at the Drop In Centre. High score was won by Therese Garcon, Phylis Palmquist, John Tullikopf and Inaka Bolt. Low score went to Iniez Page, Frank Richardson, Pearly Hansen and Elizabeth Gorman.
Sincere sympathy of the community is extended to Andy and Melba Kopjar and family on the death of their son, Tony.
Bethel Fellowsinp Alliance Church welcomed their new pastor on Sunday.  Brad and Tina Harback and children, Paige and Max, arrived Saturday from Richmond, B.C. They are living in Three Hills, and we wish them God's blessing in their new place of service.  The commissioning service will be held next Sunday, October 23.
Joe and June Kanderka, Clarence and Millie Kanderka, of Bragg Creek, Mary Hussin of Calgary, and Walter and Agnes Meding of Trochu got together for their Christmas dinner at the Strathmore Train Station on Sunday.
Jan and Harold King visited with Aunt Marion Davies in the Foothils Hospital last week.
Betty and Bob Carlson joined a large family gathering in Olds with Mary and Leonard Reimer.  They celebrated Thanksgiving and a young boy's birthday with 31 friends and family members.
Dylan and Abbey Lemke of Calgary were happy to spend the weekend with their grandparents, Doug and Gayle Parker.
Dianne Leaf and Betty Carlson enjoyed Rosebud Theatre's production of Queen Millie of Galt. It is a humorous, if somewhat improbable, love story.
