$48,000 raised for Three Hills Health Care Centre

“Christmas in Nashville” saw 168 people enjoy an evening of food and fundraising for the Three Hills Health Care Centre on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Trochu Community Centre.

The event was hosted, in partnership, by the Three Hills Health Initiative and the Three Hills Health Care Centre Auxiliary.

Entertainment was provided by Cowboy Poet B.J. Smith. A live auction was called by Canadian Champion Auctioneer Jon Radcliffe.

According to organizers, the event raised in the area of $48,000. A Calgary Flames game package including dinner and hotel sold for $1,800 with a barbecue party for 10 and four cubic meters of cement both bringing in $1,750, to name a few.

The Grand Prize winner of the $5,000 Trip Voucher was Cree Gordon and the second prize of $1,000 cash was won by Alison Sherwin, of Red Deer.

Various furniture, oxygen concentrators and an infant/pediatric portable monitor are the three needs that will benefit from the gala.
