Meet Chase Brown, Alberta Party Candidate

Chase Brown

Chase Brown is a fourth generation Albertan and rancher, who grew up in the Wintering Hills, north of Hussar. He will be completing his Bachelors of Management with a Major in Economics from the University of Alberta this spring. He is running as a candidate for the Alberta Party in hopes of provincially representing our riding of Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills.

Describing his Alberta Party, Brown says, “Although it is a centrist party, it translates to being both socially and fiscally responsible. Albertans want change, but slashing funding to crucial social programs is not the way to grow our economy. Instead we must ensure we spend taxpayer dollars more effectively.”

As Brown is a member of the Agriculture sector, he explains “I understand that we as Albertans have always been innovators. The government’s role in the entrepreneurial process is to facilitate growth and new ideas in all industries. However, I consistently hear concerns of how red tape and government interference has obstructed the natural growth Albertans are capable of. The Alberta Party has a vision for the future of Alberta, and one of our many goals is to address the rural crime epidemic. It is clear that crime in our rural areas is increasing in both frequency and severity. In order to curb these issues we need real practical solutions, and the Alberta Party is committed to working with Police Services and Crime Watch Organizations to find solutions that work across our province.”
