On July 27th and 28th, 2010, Crop Production Services (Canada) Inc. will present the second annual Seed & Soil Expo. Located one kilometer north of Hwy 582 and Hwy 2A, it is the largest event of its kind in Central Alberta with 155 acres, spanning three sites. RCMP make marijuana bust

 

On the night of Friday July 16th, 9:30 pm, a random check stop was conducted by the Three Hills RCMP in conjunction with Kneehill County Peace Officers at 2nd Street North in Three Hills. This resulted in the arrest of a lone male, 19 years of age, from Medicine Hat. A small amount of marijuana was found and the man was charged with possession under 30 grams.

At Monday July 19th's Council Meeting, Shelley Jackson, Director of Kneehill Regional Family and Community Support Services presented the 2009 Annual Report.
The FCSS is a multi-municipal preventive social program that focuses on enhancing the well-being of individuals, families, and communities throughout the Kneehill area. They achieve these goals through volunteerism, consulting, and providing services to meet needs where they exist.
