Emma was born in Laschanowka, Ukraine, December 3, 1931. She emigrated to Canada in 1950. On April 9, 1953 she married Sig Schmidt of Three Hills. We are saddened to announce the passing of Bob McKinlay of Huxley, AB on Saturday, February 13th. Bob was born September 13th, 1924. Dad lived in the Huxley area all of his 96 years. He was born in the coulees at home, where his parents owned and operated the McKinlay coal mine. Dad drove truck to deliver coal because his parents did not want him working in the mine.
