Alberta (Bert) grew up near Huxley, Alberta on the farm of her parents, Letty and Bernard (Bill) Nash and attended Huxley School. BAUER~Dorothy Bertha Bauer (nee Doern) was born in Stony Plain on February 10, 1920 to Jacob and Mary Doern. Dorothy married Edward in 1950 and they resided on their farmstead east of Torrington.
