Prairie Pilots host Sports Camp

This past week the Prairie College Pilots hosted their first sports camp of this summer season. This camp was the Multi-Sport Camp for ages 6-12 and, as the name suggests, it included a wide variety of indoor and outdoor sports such as rock climbing, football, slip-and-slide hockey, pickleball, swimming, lacrosse, baseball, full gym kickball, and assorted water games. Elnora Eagles to host 2018 Canada Region Senior Softball Championship

The Elnora Eagles are happy to announce they will be hosting the 2018 Canada Region Senior Softball Championship in Elnora July 23 – 26, 2018. These ladies would love for all their local fans to come out and cheer them on! The winner of the tournament will advance and represent Canada at the World Series in Lower Sussex, Delaware July 30 – August 5, 2018.

Opening ceremonies will be held at 9:30 AM, followed by Elnora Eagles vs Assiniboia Aces at 11:00 AM.

Congratulations to the Carbon/Acme/Linden U15 Girls Soccer team. The team is comprised of girls aged 11-15 from the Carbon, Acme and Linden areas. The U15’s earned the right to head to Provincials after defeating Carstairs 10 - 2 on June 16, 2018. They will now travel to St. Paul to attend Provincials on July 6, 7 and 8. Bulldogs/Titans undefeated on home turf

Despite a delayed start due to lightening, the Badlands Bulldogs & Red Deer Titans 3rd Division Rugby team hosted the final Drumheller home game of the regular season at DVSS field on Saturday night, under ominous skies.
