The Canadian Martial Arts Association sent a very strong Canadian Team to the 5th World Martial Arts Games held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, September 17-19, 2010. The Three Hills Thrashers started their 2010-11 season on the road this past weekend and came away with a win and a loss. Friday night, the Thrashers got off to a good start in Stettler with Corbin Weston scoring a powerplay goal fourteen minutes into the game. The Prairie Christian Academy Sabres got their first victory of the Mountain View Football Conference season on Thursday as they defeated the Sundre Bisons 29-28 in a thrilling game.
