Impressive Appaloosa's

MaryLou and Katie Tainsh attended the Canadian National Appaloosa Show in Brandon, Manitoba from July 27-31, 2010. Competing against horses, from all across Canada and the United States, both had a very successful show. MaryLou won the Canadian title for Novice Amateur Showmanship. Katie also won a championship for Novice Amateur English Equitation, as well as winning four reserve champion titles. The Three Hills Thrashers scored ten goals on Friday night and then ten more on Saturday night to earn a pair of victories.
On Friday night the Banff Academy Bears were the visitors, and they were simply overpowered by the Thrashers. PCA Junior High Girls bring home Zone Banner
On Friday, November 12, the PCA Junior High Girls Sabres volleyball team earned the gold medal and zone banner at the South Central 2J Zone Volleyball tournament held in Bassano. This finished off a very successful season for this group of girls. Throughout the fall they attended four tournaments, earning 2nd place at Red Deer College, 3rd place at Olds College, the consolation plaque at Spruce Grove, and 1st place at their home tournament.
