That's Life - October 23, 2019

I realize there are about 52,497 disappointed Conservatives in Battle River - Crowfoot right now but that’s not the first time the east has upset the west. We have to put our confidence in Damien Kurek, our new Member of Parliament. He has big shoes to fill following the retirement of Kevin Sorenson, but Kevin has prepared him well.

Damien is not a newcomer. He is the right man for the job and now he needs our support so that we, in Alberta, will be heard.

Oh sure, we can take a few days to mourn, but then let’s get on with being Albertans and proud Canadians.

By the way, Damien won 85.5% of the vote in Battle River - Crowfoot and Martin Shields won by 84% in Bow River. Alberta is a “Sea of Blue”.

This week is Small Business Week. Inside this issue you will find a nine page special section featuring local businesses and just how many people they employ. You’ll see how important it is to support our local businesses so that they can in turn, provide so many hard working individuals and their families with their livelihoods. It’s important to support local business, it always has been, it always will be.

That’s Life.
