Sympathy to relatives and friends of Irene Chatten, who passed away last week. Irene is a sister to Watson and Marc Reed and Eunice Berreth.
Betty Anne Voytechek hosted a 90th birthday party for Arnold Larson on Tuesday, June 29. Ken and Dorothy  Nygard and Grant and Alice McIntosh were lunch guests. Norman and Evelyn King, Hazel Arvidson and Veronica Voytechek later joined them to wish Arnold Happy Birthday. Happy 90th Birthday,  Arnold, from the district.
Anne Frolek and her daughter Amanda Reitenbach and Carly of Calgary recently spent six days visiting her other daughter Marianne Cox in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dianne Leaf has her son Rick and Zara Leaf and children Zion and Riel staying with her after their seven-month tour of the world. They hope to make their home in BC.
Ghost Pine was well-presented at the Trochu Parade on Thursday, Canada Day.
Three Hills Knox United congregation joined the Carbon United at Good 'n Plenty on Sunday for a luncheon instead of their annual picnic.
Several people of the area took in the Drumheller Parade and Farmer's Market on Thursday.
Andy and Irene Nakaska travelled to Lethbridge on June 30 to attend their grandson Joseph Odland's High School graduation.
Kevin and Vonne Reed of Lacombe came July 1st to take his dad George Reed and Dr. Reedyk hiking in the coulees and enjoyed the birds.
Jim and Dorothy Stewart were visiting in Chilliwack last week to meet their new great-grandson; Laurie and Lyle Thomas grandson and Amber and Taylor Daigle's son. This makes three great-grandchildren for Jim and Dorothy.
Joe and June Kanderka attended the wedding of June's great-nephew Ryan Beeton and Cheryl on Saturday at the BT Ranch, Trochu.
