By the time this week's Capital is published, everyone will be busy painting our town pink! We hope that everyone in Three Hills and community will be generous for such a good cause and enjoy themselves doing it.
Betty Carlson and Dianne Leaf were in Rosebud on Thursday where they enjoyed refreshments at the Tea House and then attended the Rosebud presentation of "Woza Albert". They report the acting was fantastic.
Eileen McComish of Erskine, along with Stephen, Missy and baby Kenna, David and Jon were in Three Hills Friday to visit Eileen's parents, Grace and Watson Reed and Bryan's mother, Bernice McComish. The boys will be going back to work and school September 1.
Ruth Giem of Dundurn, Sask. visited at Harold and Jan King's on the weekend. Ruth is Jan's sister.
Eleanor Stewart, accompanied Faye and Taz Urano to Sherwood Park on the weekend. They attended Eleanor's sister-in-law Gwen Hobson's birthday celebration. On Sunday, they attended church in Fort Saskatchewan where her grandson was preaching.
Recent visitors at the home of Barry and Denean Denis were her sister Colleen Henrikson and Duncan Campbell of Moose Jaw, as well as Peter and Linda Leismeister of Consul, Sask.
Visiting with Travis and Mel Stevens last week was Mel's mother, Tina Totter of Dodsland, Sask. While here, she visited Red Deer Hospital to meet her new grandson, born to Mandy and Andre Giannandrea.
Lisa Burden of Calgary spent the weekend with her grandma, Eva Dau.
George and Ruby Reed motored to Lacombe on Sunday to visit with son Kevin, Vonne, Kathy and Ethan.
Andy and Irene Nakaska spent some time in Radium, BC and on their way home took in the Old Time Jamboree weekend in Torrington.
