Summer holidays are over and it's back to school for another year. Harvesting is just getting started wth some peas combined and some canola beig swathed. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for the rest of the all.
Matthew Weavell of Grande Prairie stayed during the weekend at the home of his grandparents, Pat and Paul Vasseur before heading Lethbridge to study Criminal Justice at Lethbridge Community College.
Betty and Bob Carlson attended a surprise 40th birthday party for Bruce McCaskell at Keiver's Lake on Saturday. His parents, family and friends came from Saskatchewan to help him celebrate.
Congratulations to Lorraine Maerz who celebated her 80th birthday with family and frinds o Sunday at the farm.
Ruth Andrews had her grandson Sean and his girlfriend Tricia of Sooke, BC visiting for four days last week.
Get-well wishes to Watson Reed who is a patient in Three Hills Health Centre.
Les and Jean Funk are the proud grandparents of a baby boy, Jonathan James, born to their daughter Sherrie and Blair Knight of Medicine Hat on August 18. Congratulations all of you.
Mary-Anne and Leith Cox of Phoenix, Arizona had a baby girl Emma Sophia on Sunday, Sept. 5. Congratulations to proud grandparents Greg and Anne Frolek and Mary-Anne and Leith. Anne is spending time in Arizona to help out with the new baby.
