Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Manor Gospel Church for Ray Dau, a long-time resident of the area. Sympathy to all his families.
Chester Davidson of Calgary, former owner of The Coffee Break, passed away last Thursday, Sympathy of the district to his wife Nettie and sons and his families.
Veronica Voytechek and her granddaughter Amanda Robertson and her fiancee Adam of Calgary visited her on Sunday. They just got engaged last week.

On Saturday, a memorial graveside service was held at Christ Church Cemetery, across from Manor Church for Irene Chatten (nee Reed). A lunch followed after at the Three Hills Community Centre. All nine of Irene's children were in attendance. Grace and Watson Reed had all their family home on Saturday to attend the lunch and graveside service for their aunt Irene Chatten.
Congratulations to Evelyn and Norman King who celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on August 5 with a family supper.

The weather cooperated with Heritage weekend and so I am sure many people were away camping or else had visitors. We hope everyone got safely back home.
Veronika Voytechek and several of her family attended a family reunion in Busby on the weekend. Her brother, Fred Dubovsky was also there for the occasion. There were about 100 present for the event.
