Outreach News June 9, 2010

A time to honor and celebrate our seniors is what Seniors Week is all about.  Seniors Outreach has been in full swing of celebrations over the past few days and we will conclude Thursday and Friday this week with the following: Join us Thursday, June 10 for the day at the Three Hills Community Center, starting at 10:30 am to be inspired by a  man who'slost three limbs and helps people with disabilities to create a positive change in their lives. Following that will be a delicious meat-on-a-bun luncheon with home baked pies made by our seniors.
The Annual General Meeting at 1 pm will be an informative time to learn all about the things that happen at Seniors Outreach.  Beanie the Clown is going to be on hand to make us laugh.  We hope you'll all join us for a fun day. The bus runs free all day and pick up and drop at your convenience, just call 403-443-2555 to make arrangements.
Friday is the tournament day at the CommUnity Drop In Center with some great prizes for those who love  crib, scrabble, darts  & pool.  Come join them from 10 am to noon.
A word for today:  All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today! Have a great one!
