Seniors Outreach February 20, 2013

It is always a good idea to know more about how to prevent heart problems and stroke and what the risk factors are for both heart disease and stroke.  On Thursday, February 21 from 10:00-11:00 at the CommUnity Drop-In Centre, Tammy Oliver-McCurdie from the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be presenting on the following areas:
• How the heart works;
• Warning signs of a heart attack;
• How the brain works;
• Warning signs of a stroke;
• Risk factors with both heart disease and stroke;
• What individuals can do to lower their risk factors;
• What the Heart & Stroke Foundation is doing.

Did you know that Seniors Outreach is now offering regular monthly bus trips to Olds again?  The first trip will be Wednesday, March 6th so don't miss out. The bus will leave Three Hills at 9:00 and returns at approximately 3:00.
Also, a reminder that Seniors Outreach provides a regular monthly bus service to Red Deer every third Wednesday of the month.  The bus leaves Three Hills at 8:00 and returns at approximately 3:30-4:00.
