Trochu News - February 17, 2016

Trochu Drop-In had to be vacated on Feb. 3 due to a water break on Main Street which caused water to flow into the cellar. Meanwhile, a space in the Baptist Fellowship Hall was graciously offered for use by the Drop-In until their own building can again be occupied.

The monthly Bingo and birthday celebrations at the Drop-In was held Feb. 9 with a good number of guests and members coming out to enjoy an afternoon of fun and laughter. Jim Deering, assisted by Ron Mossop, called the numbers for a variety of ten games. Marj Deering was the lucky winner of the blackout prize and Debbie Jensen was the only member present celebrating a birthday in February. Happy Birthday was sung after which cake and coffee was served.
