Space and gymnasium usage at Tro-Val School is limited due to the numbers of students crammed within its walls. One of the best Remembrance Day ceremonies was held at Trochu Valley School on Nov. 10 with the gym packed full of students and the public at large. It was inspiring to see the young people taking part and learning about past history that influenced the lives of many families. October is gone but provided us with Indian Summer. At least farmers were able to get most of their crops in the bin.
Volunteers gathered at the Trochu Golf Course on Oct. 28 and helped staff put it to bed for the winter. Then the next evening the Golf Club hosted a fundraising fall supper with at least 360 in attendance. The menu got rave reviews.
