As usual, the weather and crops are the main topic of conversation. Patient farmers are becoming a bit irked at Mother Nature who keeps teasing with a day of sun and then dashes hopes with showers. Now the weather people dare to mention the s-word "snow" while we're waiting for the warmer s-word "summer".

The planning and excitement of the Wild Pink Yonder is over and we await the name of the winning community. The weather as been a bit chilly since forcing the girls who were brave enough to give up their hair, to wear head and neck scarves.
