The Calgary Stampede is well underway so shouldn't we be picking saskatoons and haying? Mother Nature chose to smile on Trochu with sunshine and perfect temperatures for the annual July 1 celebrations. The day started out at the Community Centre where the Big Valley/Rumsey Elks cooked up breakfast that fed 460 people, who then headed out to find the perfect spot to watch the parade.
