RCMP Report Decreases In Crime Statistics

Crime statistics in the Three Hills RCMP detachment area show a definite decrease in numbers compared to one year ago.

A recent crime statistic summary, covering January to August, shows break and enters at a 19.1% decrease representing 21 fewer actual occurrences.

Theft of motor vehicles dropped by 48.5% with 16 fewer motor vehicle thefts.

Theft under $5,000 saw a 20.2% decrease or 24 fewer actual occurrences.

In the Criminal Code category total persons crimes are down 1.5% or three fewer crim

Drumheller RCMP Issue Warning To Public In Wake Of Recent Suspected Overdoses

On Sept. 1, 2023, Drumheller RCMP responded to three separate incidents of suspected fentanyl overdoses, within a few hours of each other. These three incidents happened in the central Drumheller area but at different locations.
