RCMP Respond To 209 Calls To Service In February

Three Hills RCMP responded to 209 Calls to Service in February 2024.

There were two 911 hang-ups, two abandoned vehicles, one abduction contravening a custody order - unfounded and one alter/destroy/remove vehicle identification number - unfounded.

There was one animal call (dog), two assaults - one victim declined to proceed, two assaults with a weapon - one victim declined to proceed and 12 warrant apprehensions.

Drumheller GIS Arrest Male And Female For Trafficking Methamphetamine

On March 3, 2024, Drumheller General Investigation Section (GIS) executed a search warrant at a local residence, as well as on a vehicle and a travel trailer, in Three Hills. The investigation was initiated in January of 2024. As a result of the search warrant, police seized the following:

Rural Hall Capital Grant Funding

At the February 27, 2024, Council meeting, Kneehill County Council presented Dorothy Weimer and Mark Goodbrand, from the Wimborne Community Centre, with a cheque for $15,000.00 from Kneehill County's NEW Rural Hall Capital Grant Funding Program, which assists in the development and enhancement of community halls in the County.

Trochu Council Meets With Kneehill County On Facility Funding

Kneehill County Council’s February 27, 2024, Regular Meeting was attended in person by all Councillors, save for Deputy Reeve Jerry Wittstock who joined electronically.
