DAU, Eva Amelia - (nee King, Little) - 1909-2011 - Eva Dau passed away at the Three Hills Hospital on Sept 4 at the age of 102. Wife of the late Donald Dau (d.2010) and Clarence (Happy) Little (d.1973), she will be sadly missed by her daughters, Iola Whiteside and Dawna Little. She is survived by grandchildren Lisa Burden (Glenn), David Burden (Marilyn), Carol Ann Williams (Peter) and Apryl Little. She will be missed by 5 great grandchildren. Survived by step-children Linda Pliva and Douglas Dau. She leaves her brothers Gordon King and Norman King (Evelyn), sister Irene McDonald and sister-in-law Monica King as well as numerous much loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The child of homesteaders and generations of settlers, Eva loved the land and followed each year's crops as harvest approached. She was a long time member and supporter of the Rebeccas and other organizations. She was a born naturalist with a love of birds and animals. Most of all Eva loved people, all people and they loved her. She will be missed. Service will be held at Three Hills Knox United Church, Saturday September 10 at 11:00 AM. Reception following service at Three Hills Community Centre. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Alberta Division of the Canadian Cancer Society.
