Paul Hobbs, beloved husband of Milena Hobbs (nee Sotina), of Airdrie, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the age of 60 years. Paul was born in Hamilton, Ontario on April 11, 1961. He spent his childhood in Quebec. Later on family moved to Markham, Ontario. Paul attended Seneca College where he received his degree in Information Technology and started his long and fruitful career working for many large corporations in downtown Toronto such as IBM, Franklin Investments and the Royal Bank. He was valued in IT community and in high demand for his skills. Paul bought a house in Aurora, Ontario in 1997 and married Milena in 1998. They welcomed their son Brandon in 2000 and their daughter Maya in 2002. Family moved to Airdrie in 2014 and became the owners of The Three Hills Dental Clinic in 2019. Paul accomplished much through his life. However, was particularly proud of his family and his children’s achievements. Paul had a passion for construction and renovation of homes. He enjoyed walks, biking and boating with his family. Paul loved traveling to various tropical destinations. He also loved trips to Las Vegas where he would visit a shooting range and a race car track. Paul’s most memorable vacation was to Atlantis, Bahamas. He loved the mystical ambiance of the place and their various fun rides. Paul enjoyed the 80’s music and his favorite movie was “A Night at the Roxbury”. Besides his loving wife, Paul is survived by his daughter Maya and his son Brandon as well as their cousin, Lauren. He will be most remembered for his kind heart and caring personality as well as his great sense of humor. Paul derived the most pleasure in life in taking care of his family and everyone who came into his inner circle. He could instantly see what people needed and went above and beyond to take care of them. No one could replace him. He will be sadly missed by more than just his immediate family. “Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have”.
