Marion Elaine (Guthrie) Hicks - (1921 - 2011) - Marion was born May 22, 1921 in her grandmother's home in New Norway, Alberta. She was the first born child to Earl and Bella (Tronnes) Guthrie. In 1924, she moved with her family to Fernwood, Idaho. There she attended grade school and graduated from high school in St. Maries, Idaho in 1939. WALLNER, Rudolph (Rudy) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 12, 2011. Rudy was born Nov. 24, 1933 in the Grand Court District near Elnora, AB and remained in the community farming with a mixed dairy operation, and later was involved in the trucking industry, also owning and operated his own trucking company. PAINTER, Donald Allen (Duck) - Donald Painter was born Sept.14, 1959 and passed away at the Red Deer Hospital June 6, 2011 at the age of 51. Donald was the sixth child born to Allen and Elsie Painter. He enjoyed everything about life, he played baseball and hockey, curled and loved to dance. He lived on the family farm most of his life until Donald and his mom bought a house in Trochu. He worked at UFA in Trochu pumping gas and hauling fuel to farms, he also worked at the Trochu Meat Processors
