ABE LOEWEN - April 28th, 1941 to - September 11, 2011 - We are sad to announce that Abe Loewen passed away peacefully at the Valleyview Hospital at the age of 70, due to heart and kidney complications. His best friend, Doris Bulher was at his side. Abe was the adopted son of David and Elizabeth Loewen of Linden, Alberta. Abe farmed and drove truck in the Linden area until 1977 when he moved his family to Valleyview to homestead. Abe worked as a grader operator and then as a professional welder.

Adele Neufeld - 1937-2011 - On Saturday, September 17th at the age of 74, Adele lost her battle with cancer, she was diagnosed with Breast cancer in 2001, went into remission and in 2010 was told the cancer was back. She expressed how blessed she felt to have those ten years with many beautiful memories. She passed away peacefully in her sleep while holding her husband, Gunter Neufeld's hand. Mom was born in Edmonton, on October 31, 1920 and passed away in Drumheller, October 2, 2011 just short of her 91st birthday.
