Ruby was born Oct 2, 1940 at Tees Alberta and raised on the family farm near Mirror. Her schools were at Gadsby Lake and Mirror and her post office was in Alix. The Jedel family church was at Ellis. Ruby learned the basics of Christianity at home and at the church at Ellis. She did not remember a time when she did not believe in her Creator God, nor a time when she was not depending on Jesus Christ as her Saviour. This was so important to her that she always wanted to

Norman was born to James L. and Mae Rodger on Oct. 30,1933 in Lanark, Ontario. He left home at an early age and worked his way west. He married Margaret Crawford in 1960 and set up farming with her family west of Acme. They raised 2 sons and ran a small feedlot operation. Summers were filled with camping, rodeos, 4-H shows, parades and country music festivals. Winter getaways were to Osoyoos, BC. Attending the activities of their grandchildren was always

Robert (Bob) Leinweber was born on the family farm Northwest of Acme to John and Annie Leinweber on August 27, 1931. It was here that he grew up and continued to live, until he built his own home just south of the family homestead. When living on his own became more difficult, he moved to his new home at Westview Care Community in Linden, where he enjoyed great care, good meals, and people to visit with. Bob died on January 31, 2023. Bob attended the Gobert School where he loved to participate

Robert E. (Bob) Witherspoon of Huxley, AB. Bob, born 28 August 1932 in Worcester, England, died 7 January 2023 at St. Mary’s, Trochu, AB, where he was lovingly cared for the past year. Cremation care was compassionately provided by Kneehill Funeral Services, Trochu. According to Bob’s wishes there will be no service.
