I realize the threat of the COVID-19 Pandemic is far from completely over but things are really starting to get back to normal.
Things like Friday’s Grand Opening at the Honey Hut and Busy Bee Bake Shoppe, Saturday’s gathering to welcome Federal Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole and even Monday’s official opening of the Three Hills Water Treatment Plant upgrade remind us that normality is alive and well, thank goodness.
To celebrate the light at the end of a very long tunnel how about supporting our Rehoboth Christian Ministry by stopping by Anderson Park on Wednesday, July 14th, from 4 to 8pm in support of their Beef on a Bun, Silent Auction and Client Appreciation. Tickets are $15 each and are pre-sold at Peter’s Pharmacy, New To You, Rehoboth office and Balkwill Pharmacy. Bring your own lawn chair.
And speaking of live music at Anderson Park, don’t miss “Goodstock 1”. It’s billed as an open Air Jam. No, not the kind you spread on toast. This is classic rock, folk and country music hosted by “The Usual Suspects”. It’s happening Sunday, July 25, from 4-8pm and admission is free. All you have to do is come to Anderson Park in Three Hills on a sunny Sunday afternoon, in the summertime.
There will be BBQ burgers and refreshments available on site. And just in case it pours rain an alternate location will be announced.
I know, we will have to get used to getting out and enjoying life. This could be a great re-start to the way we were.
That’s Life.
